CRU Galston Gorge is looking for a Handy Person to join our team, with the flexibility to shape your role based on your skills and interests.

Flexible Employment Options:

  • Full-time: 38 hours/week

  • Part-time: 1-4 days/week, weekends or flexible hours

Customisable Role Focus Areas:

Choose from or combine areas like:

  • Gardening & landscaping

  • Painting & decorating

  • General repairs & maintenance

  • Preventative maintenance & bushfire readiness

  • Site cleaning & readiness

  • Activity maintenance (bikes, archery, bushwalks)

  • Or create your own focus area!

Future Growth Opportunities:

  • Properties Manager

  • Site Director

  • Senior Property Assistant

  • Or keep things simple with minimal responsibility

About You:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • A mature Christian faith and alignment with CRU’s Basis of Belief

  • Experience and competence in maintaining buildings, grounds, and facilities

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors

  • A commitment to excellence in all tasks, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

About Us:

CRU is a Christian youth organisation passionate about helping students know and follow Jesus through camps and school’s ministry. Our Galston Gorge site hosts school and holiday camps in a beautiful bushland setting.
